Sandbox Theatre presents Words Do Move, an all new theatrical event.
Inspired by the empathetic power of language, Words Do Move is an exploration into communication, fed through the collective lens of the ensemble. Built from scratch over a period of seven weeks, WDM examines how words have the ability to motivate us, to connect us, and to drive us apart.
Words Do Move is a five-part collection of episodes woven together with storytelling, movement, and song bringing together musicians, poets, actors and writers into Sandboxs collaborative ensemble creation process, generating genuine, honest moments borne from the breadth of their personal experience. Its a rigorous process of self-examination, refined and polished into imaginative, unexpected stories that are wholly their own. With video design by Tamara Ober and Kristina Fjellman, and live music by Theo Langason.
