The COVID-19 pandemic has made many of us examine the nature of love more thoroughly. Separated from (or trapped with?) our loved ones, many of us asked, “What is love?” and “Who/what do I love?” The kid from 4th grade? The person who left you? The grandmother you never knew? The cat who was your companion for seventeen years? Was your love fleeting or for as long as you both shall live? Was it forbidden, welcomed, almost grasped, or unrealized until now?
YOU WHO I ALWAYS/NEVER/ONCE LOVED will feature storytellers of all ages, ethnicities, genders, sexual identities -- people who've loved many times and those who have trouble loving at all -- to create a multifaceted portrait of love gained, lost, and evaded. Their autobiographical stories will move you, make you laugh, and make you ponder the vagaries of the human heart.
Each week will feature a different group of eight superb storytellers. Each story will run approximately 8-10 minutes, with live, original music in between. September 16-18: Josh Cragun, Destiny Davison, Eli Effinger-Weintraub, Larissa Netterlund, Ariel Pinkerton, Lacey Piotter, Jen Scott, and Tim Uren. September 23-25: Denzel Belin, Matthew Kessen, Les Kurkendaal-Barrett, Sam Landman, Anthony Neuman and Nicole Wilder, Ariel Pinkerton, and Rachel Teagle.
NO ADMISSION WITHOUT PROOF OF VACCINATION. MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES!
